The user is not notified when they make changes to Windows settings. However, the user is notified when programs try to make changes to the computer, including Windows settings.
3.) "Always notify me." The user is notified when a program tries to install software or make changes to the computer. The user is also notified when they make changes to Windows settings or when programs try to do so on their own.

Microsoft Paint in Windows 7
Windows 7 also includes a dramatically improved version of Microsoft Paint. It's said to be the biggest upgrade to the program since the first version of Windows was released.
The ribbon user interface, which came along with Office 2007, is also implemented into WordPad and Paint. The Paint program now allows you to directly paint using your fingers, as mentioned above. Apart from that, it includes a ruler as well. Have fun checking out these new features!
